Ford’s 2011 Explorer Has Innovation and Horsepower
Ford’s Explorer can trace its roots back to the debut Bronco that first saw the light of day during the 1966 model year. The initial Bronco was decidedly small and it proved popular for both off-roading as well as business purposes. Eventually, the Bronco morphed into a full-size vehicle based upon the F-Series pickup; but, then in 1984,it was reborn as the Bronco II, one of the first compact sport-utility vehicles as we know them today. In 1990, the Bronco II became the Ford Explorer, literally beginning the modern SUV market. The 2011 Ford Explorer Fremont is a quality SUV. One of the first advantages of the Explorer is the strong structural design which is most useful in towing and off-road applications. It has a body designed for a truck but it also has the roomy, sound feel of a car.The Explorer Fremont NE has three customizable options that include XLT, Eddie Bauer and Limited. The XLT is available CD and MP3 stereo, cruise control, and 16″ aluminum|alloy] wheels. You can also upgrade to the Sport Package with even more options such as step-up bars and 20″ rims. The next model is the Eddie Bauer which includes 17″ alloy rims, heated front seats, two-tone paint, manual third-row seat, Ford’s sync package and satellite radio. To go all out you will want to get the Explorer Limited which features rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, perforated leather upholstery, 18″ alloy wheels, power adjustable pedals, driver memory functions, and an upgraded audio system with in-dash CD changer and steering wheel mounted controls. If that’s not enough features for you, you may want to put a proposal in to NASA for the space shuttle.
